Add your voice in opposition to the attack on our immigrant communities that will force immigrants to choose between a green card and access to critical benefits. Community members now have less than 50 days to submit comment against these ‘public charge’ changes.
If the proposed changes occur, it will lead to dramatic and negative health outcomes for immigrant families. Confusion and fear surrounding news of the proposal have already caused immigrants to disenroll from programs that they and their families are entitled to.
To raise awareness about and against the proposal, CAA is conducting ongoing community education and outreach. This has included partnering with ASPIRE, the first undocumented API youth group in the country, which is leading the #Health4All Campaign to ensure all undocumented immigrants are eligible for public health benefits.
