The Leadership Circle is a community of committed members who contribute $1,000 or more annually to address our community’s most crucial needs here in San Francisco Chinatown and beyond. Leadership Circle membership includes learning opportunities, an annual appreciation reception, and VIP access to our other programming above.
The Legacy Society is made up of individuals who have generously named CAA in their estate plans. Our Legacy Society members have in effect, included CAA as a part of their extended family. We are deeply honored by their commitment to social justice and trust in us to do the work ahead. Our Legacy Society members enjoy unique perks such as insider news, invitations to our Legacy Society Luncheon and more.
Legacy Society gifts go toward our endowment and action fund, which will enable CAA to protect civil rights and equality for many years to come. Planned gifts often include:
Bequests in wills or living trusts
Beneficiary designations through retirement plans, donor advised funds or life insurance policies
Third-party managed vehicles such as charitable remainder trusts or charitable gift annuities
We deeply appreciate a gift of any amount that is meaningful to you. If you have named CAA in your planned giving, you are an automatic member of the Legacy Society — please fill out this enrollment form to help us recognize your gift, understand your current wishes, and invite you to our Legacy Society activities.
The Alexander Jew Memorial Fund was established by May and Larry Jew to honor their dear grandson, Alexander Jew. You can dedicate your gift to this fund by leaving a note in the “comments” section of the donation form, on your check, or by emailing donations@caasf.org. All donations to the Alexander Jew Memorial Fund will be used to resource CAA’s vital work in supporting our community’s needs.
Affectionately called a “gentle giant” by his family, Alexander was a generous and kind person with a unique spirit. He was well versed in many things, including knitting and cooking, and he loved to tend to succulent plants. His sarcastic sense of humor is missed by his family and friends.
