Beginning in 2024, San Francisco started planning to expand free, high-speed fiber internet to public and affordable housing through a new Digital Equity investment.
With continued advocacy, California has also launched a state-wide subsidized LifeLine internet program which would provide an alternative high and affordable internet option to the community.
This workshop will share key updates, Chinatown project plans, construction timelines and locations, what to expect during construction, and invite community input.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about potential disruptions, and provide feedback.
