“I was excited that the mayor continues to bring everyone together and there was palpable energy to resist the unlawful military actions of the federal administration,” said Vincent Pan, co-executive director for Chinese for Affirmative Action, a San Francisco-based social justice organization. Pan called on residents, government officials and local business leaders “to be more courageous and creative in our leadership than we ever have before.”
