During these tumultuous times, it is especially important to celebrate recent victories — like the preliminary injunction against Muslim Ban 2.0 — and ensuring that millions of Americans continue to have access to basic health care. If you are wondering whether protests, phone calls, and mobilizations are making a difference — they are!

However, we can’t lose sight over the fact that the Trump Administration’s disastrous immigration policies are wreaking havoc on impacted communities and are just the tip of the iceberg. This is why CAA has been all over the Chinese language media, providing vital know-your-rights information and promoting the value that sanctuary policies are about community safety and protecting everyone.

Immigrant Rights Program Manager, Hong Mei Pang, working with a Chinese language reporter to ensure that timely and accurate information is disseminated to immigrants about changes to federal immigration policies
