Between an economic crisis, a global pandemic, and a historical election season up and down the ballot, CAA was called upon to help our community move forward — and our team stepped up to meet the moment.

This fall, CAA signed on to an amicus brief in support of Professor Feng “Franklin” Tao, an engineering professor at the University of Kansas who has been accused by the United States government of fraud.

From local and national elections to critical court rulings, as well as ongoing direct services and community engagement, this month has been a whirlwind of activity for our team at Chinese for Affirmative Action.

On October 8, we welcomed over 1,350 guests to CAA’s 51st Celebration of Justice, the first virtual fundraising event in CAA history.
